In 1997 Michael Stevy’s life changed forever. In a matter of moments a simple drive turned into a tragic accident. Confined to a wheelchair, Michael decided to turn
the tragedy into something positive and thus Better Life Mobility Center was born. The company was founded on the premise that people, not profit, take center stage. In 2004, Mo Abusham, himself confined to a wheelchair, bought the company after years of frustration with other mobility companies. “I’ve been using mobility products for nearly two decades and know firsthand the issues that you face on a
daily basis. My experience taught me that none of the large discount mobility centers cared about my personal needs. They simple wanted to sell me a wheelchair and send me on my way,” Mo Abusham said.Following Michael’s original credo, Mo grew Better Life Mobility Center in hopes of giving back to the community and showing people that “life can still be wonderful if given a chance.” With world-class customer service and a dedicated staff, Better Life Mobility Center has a caring, family atmosphere that is unparalleled in the industry. Through word of mouth and customer referrals BLMC grew tremendously without relying on gimmicks or marketing ploys.
